How is entrepreneurship related to our age? Isn’t this spoken about often? According to many studies, the average entrepreneur is 40 years old when they launch their start-up. Another research indicates that a 55-year old has more potential than a 25-year old. In the current situation of the world and lifestyle we are living in and the race everyone is all headed to, leads only towards the goals set ahead of us. Saying that impossible spells Impossible. So just in case your thinking of your age, your to old to start up a new challenge, the good news is Age is just a number. Proof to what said Kentucky Fried Chicken well known as KFC founded by Harland Sanders at the age of 65 is the most successful entrepreneur of the fast food business in today’s world. So if you are anything more than 65 you have a big challenge ahead of you and maybe one day we read your story and if you anywhere less than 65 and thinking of being an entrepreneur you have a lot ahead of you, so start planning your successful story right now. Race is run by many but only one leads so get that leader in you and start by one step a day and who knows after a few days you will find yourself leading ahead not only with yourself but also with your competitors. Being an Entrepreneur has a strong capability to attract people to your uniqueness and ideas. ” Old is the new fashion” Don’t forget and believe in yourself if your old you have loads of experience to get there more easily. What you have to understand is that this vision of entrepreneurs being young is nothing but a stereotype. So many people actually realize what they should be doing and start working towards it at the age of 40 or even more. And sometimes it takes about 50 years of their lives to decide what they should be doing.
Difference between the mentality of youth and the old:
Let’s say when you’re young, you come up with an idea of making a website for others and make money out of it. Whereas when you grow old, you realize the concepts of business models and leverage and much more.
Bigger network of people
Strat meeting people. The bigger your network, the more professional contacts and experience. So when it’s finally time for you to start your own business, you will have a wide network of successful professionals as you grow
Don’t think that it’s impossible
There are millions of entrepreneurs out there and they do a great job! The facebook website you all can’t live without was started by Mark Zuckerberg when he was just 19! And there are others like Charles Fint who started IBM was 62. So all you need is the zeal to do it. Not the age! You make up so significantly that you will never feel like you’re falling behind. In fact, you will have an edge. Hence, dont ever give up on your dream only because you think it’s not the age any more. If you do think that way, it’s time to really think again!

Harland Sanders (KFC): Harland Sanders failed about 1009 times. He was fired from dozens of jobs before starting his restaurant, and then failed at that when he went out of business and found himself broke at the age of 65. He got his turn around when he sold his first Kentucky Fried Chicken franchise in 1952. Today, KFC is in almost all the countries in the world.

When you are in your 20s, you try many different things. You venture into a number of different fields. Try several business ideas and fail at several too.
